Kris has been taking pictures since she was knee-high, looking at the world through the snap of a camera's shutter and searching for indelible images in those split-second moments.

Photographing families and events are Kris’ true passion. Environmental photography allows Kris to find her own photographic relationship within the heart of a company from headshots to product photography. Interior and Lifestyle Photography is another joy for Kris; quiet lines, velvety textures, and surprising colour combinations lift the viewer to intended emotional vignettes.

As a professional, Kris relishes the challenge of becoming a trusted observer of her subjects, specializing in stepping into the background to help even the most curious children give a natural, unobserved feel in their portraits. Adults also relax, the stress of their lives momentarily slipping away, as Kris settles into a rhythm of capturing a quiet ease in even the most intense of subjects.

Graduating top of her class in Creative Photography at Humber College, she learned the classic film style of looking for the best shot, not the lucky one. With every new job, Kris aims to find the magic of real emotion and truth found between each breath.
